It was recommended to me when I initially got my puppy. I was a little resistant, but I did sign up and it was the best decision I ever made. My dog at 4 years old was dx with thrombocytopenia..Tru Panion covered almost 90 percent of an 8000.00 bill. And they will continue to cover blood work and med adjustments as needed. I have such peace of mind knowing my dog is getting the absolute best medical care. I am also impressed how the entire procedure was seamless and the fact you can speak to a human agent is amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for pet insurance.

I am very displeased with my service of…

I am very displeased with my service of pumpkin as a consumer. First of all I was misled greatly when choosing a plan and deciding to use pumpkin for my pets insurance. I was essentially told whatever I wanted to hear, just to get the sale. I was told claims are processed within in 5 business days, both of my claims took 2-3 weeks. Out of both of those claims I paid $1000.00 to providers, pumpkin covered $0.00. Pumpkin used a blanket term of “pre-existing” their favorite term because it automatically makes they pay their consumers nothing. I was told since my pets condition had been dormant, It would be grandfathered in and covered, yet surprise, surprise, that’s not at all what happened. Not to mention the second claim had absolutely zero to do with his “pre-existing” condition. I am a sick and disabled veteran and don’t have the energy to call and deal with this, but shame on you pumpkin and your corporate greed. At the end of the day, I’m just another $160 a month to you, and it’s very disappointing you are doing this to your customers.
