Prince Frederick Animal Hospital is amazing! I have been there twice in the past few months. They are very effecient and helpful. When my cat had an accident on the way, a technician was quick to help scoop the carrier and clean it and my cat quickly. Dr. Matteson is an excellent vet. She is kind, caring, and keeps all of your pets situations in mind. My cat has a heart condition so she is conservative with treatments that she knows will cause more harm than good. When you call in with questions, the office staff are happy to help you find the answers. I highly recommend Prince Frederick Animal Hospital for all of your veterinary needs.

Our family of 4 dogs have been patients since 2012. A couple have had major surgeries there, some multiple. Spent multiple thousands of dollars for the best care there and it’s worth every penny. Live in Dunkirk now but still make the trip to PFAH because it’s well worth it. Drive right by two other local hospitals on the way. 100 stars!

My experiences with Prince Frederick Animal Hospital have all been positive, and have affirmed my feelings that every Vet and every Staffer there truly love and care for animals. Covid-19 has thrown their practice for a loop, but they have come up with processes which allow care without endangering animals or their owners. They have always been responsive and have taken dogs immediately when there was an emergency. When age and infirmity have made it necessary to give me and my dogs the peace we deserve, they show great and heartfelt empathy. I am totally confident that this Veterinary Practice will be the only one I need to ensure the health of my dogs.

We moved to the county two years ago and have had very positive experiences with all the staff here. Just today one of the vets called to check on an issue with my dog from two months ago. Would recommend this veterinary practice to anyone!

The people who work here seem nice and knowledgeable enough but the service is unbelievably slow. I have never been to a vet in my life where it consistently takes +30 minutes just for the front desk to “get your chart” so you can pay and leave. Go somewhere else if you value your own time.
