A Great Experience
My recent experience using Trupanion was easy and smooth especially because my Veterinary Hospital was an affiliate. I got pre-approval in 10 minutes for my pets MRI and lumbar puncture (spinal tap). Then upon checking out I received my 90% payment in less than 5 min. Ever time I called with a question I immediately spoke to a human which is so rare these days. Being able to call 24/7 is great. The representatives are very nice and helpful.

Easy Peasy to have the Vet Office submit directly
Our dog Molly met a porcupine. Fortunately, she approached slowly, but still wanted to sniff. She had several quills in her nose and outside lip. Broadview Animal hospital submitted our claim directly and we had our answer within minutes. It was so easy and we knew exactly what our portion was right away. What a relief.

I have had metLife pet insurance now…
I have had metLife pet insurance now for some 7 years / two different dogs and it has been very worthwhile - but will say when i first subscribed it was for catostrophic purpose and was $35 a month i am now more than triple this cost for same coverage and a deductible of $250 -for 5k - I do think it has gotten pricey - and hoping that the renewal isn't double this year what i pay now because i will have to seek other companies -

Trupanion has always been my go to for pet insurance
Trupanion has always been my go to for pet insurance because they do say exactly what they say they will. I’ve never had any issues with claims and they rarely increase the premiums even as the pet becomes old & the probability of illnesses increases. I’m even able to have any claims from my local Vet office or the two ER Vet Hospitals bill directly to Trupanion which is a huge perk.
