I have had pet insurance for about five years now. I never needed it until my dog tore her cruciate ligament. After submitting the appropriate paperwork and getting the operation, I was reimbursed almost immediately to the full value of the insurance. they answered the phone quickly when I called. Their website was user-friendly and easy to navigate. Their reception staff were always courteous and knowledgeable. In short, excellent experience and I cannot recommend enough.

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance offers good service overall, but pet owners should be aware of the dramatic premium increases as pets get older. My golden retriever’s monthly premium jumped from $287 to $807 once he turned 13 years old, despite having no prior medical history. The coverage itself has been reliable, but the sudden and significant cost increase at this age was unexpected and difficult to manage. Nationwide shouldn’t be taking payment…
Nationwide shouldn’t be taking payment for insurance if I don’t have insurance for my pet for 3 business days. It wasn’t transparently communicated that I have to wait for approval before I have insurance for my pet.

Seamless Experience!
This is my first time ever having pet insurance so I wasn't sure what to expect here, but my experience was nothing short of the best! I submitted a wellness claim for my pet on 11/14 and it was processed within 2 business days on 11/18. Compensation was given on 11/24, 4 business days after the claim was completed.
