Best Healthcare for our Dawg
I am so grateful"Zoe Angelina the Jack Russell", our dawg, has always had Trupanion at our side for over her 13 years, even celebrating Zoe's 16th birthday, in January.
They have paid well over $11,000 in claims protecting our sweet girl.
Trupanion is Zoe Angelina's guardian angel.

Untrustworthy company - They intentionally lie and deceive their customers.
My dog was seen at a vet for a possible ear infection on 12/4/2021. He was treated and released. My dog was taken to the vet on 2/18/2023 and I was told he is not covered because there is a 12 month waiting period. The gaps between the 2 vet visits is approximately 15 months which is much longer than the 12 month waiting period. Embrace is saying he wont be eligible for coverage until 2/18/2024.
Also, my dog has a small mass on his chest his whole life which is roughly the size of a dime. This mass has remained the same size his whole life. Embrace rep, told me since we dont have exact explanation of the cause of the mass, my dog is no longer covered for any time of cancer.
In all, avoid Embrace pet insurance at all cost. They lie, they deceive, and they dont uphold their policies. I dont understand how they are still in business.

Trupanion has always been at our side. It's so easy to say YES to our vets over the years "do whatever necessary to care for Marcus Aurelius Antoninus the Dog, Zoe Angelina the Jack Russell, and Luke Skywalk the Wonder Dawg.

They delivered what they promised when I first bought coverage. My dog, Bella had double knee luxation surgery, and, suffered a second surgery on one leg due to a complication and all was handled in a few days. I ?? Trupanion!

Very efficient and caring
I don't know how they do it. Their claims process is so efficient, I had my reimbursement before my credit card bill was due. Their claims process is very straightforward, and easy to understand. You have to provide complete medical records from the beginning of ownership of your animal, which your vet should easily be able to provide, and which is required to demonstrate that the current issue was not a preexisting condition. I don't know of a pet insurance that covers preexisting conditions, so this is normal. After that, claims are processed super fast. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. It is very easy to get through to a claims agent if things get stalled, which in my case they did, because I had to round up records from 3 different practices. No big deal. On-hold times are short, and staff is unbelievably caring. They ask how your pet is doing, knowing they are about to become your therapist for a minute. I can't imagine the stories they hear. I am very grateful for this kindness. It helps more than they can possibly know.
