How to Save on Veterinary Costs at King Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

We didn't have to sit in a waiting room with a bunch of other the pets. They were kind to my grumpy old dog. The vet was very approachable and answered all my questions. The price for working on his teeth was much more reasonable than that quoted by a couple of other vets I've checked with. I think I've found the vet I'm going to stick with!

I just picked up my dog at King Veterinary Hospital. She was there for a hernia. Dr. Bowen made an incision on the wrong side of my dog. Not a slip of the knife. Why wouldn't a vet at least find the herniation before making an incision? When I asked about this he said jokingly, there will not be a charge for the extra incision. Really? No remorse? I'm a retired P.I. I have already found one customer that stated he almost killed her dog and I just started to investigate him one hour ago.

Have been taking my dog there for years, and now my cats and always enjoyed the personal feel of the office. They have two office cats that are the sweetest and all of the staff make conversation while at the front desk. Very personable vet as well with detailed explanation and responses to all of your questions that you may ask. The only thing I wish was different was their availability. especially for dual clients like my two kittens that are receiving care simultaneously, it was limited space in their schedule for both of them at the same time. Still will continue to go and earn my local business!
