Covered dog's emergency visit and TPLO surgery due to injury/CCL tear
We are lucky we signed up for pumpkin. We talked about it for a while and never did and then decided to right before a trip and an annual checkup with the vet. That week, our dog went to jump on the bed and tore her right CCL and needed TPLO. Had to send pumpkin a million documents from her vet visits, but they covered it. Originally put it on carecredit and completed the claim process which took 7 weeks and then they paid the claim out within the week that they approved it. Unfortunately her left back leg CCL is completely torn now. Hoping they cover this one since it tore compensating for the right side. We have the unlimited plan.

I strongly suggest looking at other pet insurance this company does not explain their policy correctly our dog was completely healthy when I took out this policy he was diagnosed with heart worms months later while being on heart worm prevention they denied his claim for treatment don’t trust this company.

You payed less than half of my claim. The total bill/claim was directly from the vet. I went in for one reason only. The only reason you got two stars was because of the first claim or I would have given you one.

Spot was my first experience with…having pet insurance and making a claim and am very impressed with how easy and professional the entire process was.
Spot was my first experience with having pet insurance. As with any new relationship with a company I had questions about how easy and competent the processes would be if I needed to make a claim. I signed my two dogs up and in less than a month one of them needed veterinary care for a foreign object lodged in her nasal cavity. Two procedures a couple of weeks apart to resolve the issue. The claim process was very easy and straight forward. Review of the claim was done in a few days. On the first claim I had the check mailed to me, which I have not yet received, but expect too soon. The second claim made two weeks after the first I signed up for direct deposit and that payment was in the account a few days after the claim was approved.

Direct deposit issue resolved
My claim showed that it was paid via direct deposit over three weeks ago. No sign of the deposit. I called to inquire and was told the billing department would investigate. After a couple of additional days the claims was paid. I'm not sure what happened. Hopefully, the direct deposit will be smoother from here on out. No other issues after almost 7 years.

A huge waste of time.
So far I've had the full coverage including preventative care and I don't find it very helpful. It is very difficult as well to submit a claim presently the website won't allow me to get the claim submitted. It wastes my time and is frustrating.
