Unhappy with Customer Service
I was dissatisfied with the customer service provided by Mathew at approximately 1:35EST on 1/2/23. I asked him why my claim was ineligible for reimbursement and he said because in April 2023 Lulu was treated for a cough and this was prior to her coverage which began in August, 2023. I pointed out that in July of 23 her diagnosis was for a respiratory infection and that now we have identified an enlarged heart as a separate issue. At 1 point Mathew said to me that I needed to get my times straight. The call ended with Mathew professing to take the matter back for research and calling me back. I found his tone and demeanor at the end of the call unprofessional.

The explanations are really vague
The explanations are really vague. As far as how you apply for the process, it constantly kicks me back to the main page and since there's an error if I try to apply information to my pet's profile. P there's not really a description of exact services offered that I have been able to find. It just seems very muddied. I was just testing this out because it is the first time my workplace is offered it.

Boris and Healthy Paws Pet Insurance
My beloved schnauzer, Boris, was the light of my life, and when he fell ill in early-Dec 2023, we brought him to the ICU. He stayed there for nearly three weeks, and the bill was over $20,000. Healthy Paws covered almost all of it, with no cap, and reimbursed us within 1-2 days. They were amazing to work with, and genuinely cared about helping my dog. We lost Boris on Christmas Day, but never would have been able to get him the care he needed without this amazing company. When we are ready for another dog, we will sign up with them again!
