Fast reimbursement!
We recently had an emergency hospital overnight for our young giant breed dog, and had to put a very large deposit down at the time of admission. I submitted the claim within 24 hours of getting our pup home, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the claim was processed, approved, and PAID within 24 hours after that. The policy covered exactly what we expected (excluding only the exam fees, taxes, and our expected coinsurance). It was a relief to have our claim paid before the final charge from the hospital had even hit our credit card statement. (Oh, and pup is fully recovered and doing great!)

Genuine Thanks to Trupanion
My dog became very ill and had to be hospitalized. Trupanion paid his bills very promptly, a great relief as we were concerned about having thousands of dollars of Vet bills on our credit card. In addition, each time I called to inquire about something, the Trupanion representative was helpful and compassionate, sensing my worry about my dog and offering the kind of support I would expect from a friend but not a phone representative. The thing about pet insurance is that it frees you from worrying whether you can afford to treat your pet. You don’t have to make those gut wrenching decisions because Trupanion has you covered.
