Use legalease to exclude huge swaths of conditions
This company is just like every other insurance. They will use every excuse they can find to NOT cover a condition. My dog threw up ONCE in 2023 and they used that to not cover all GI issues he ever experiences until 2025. Well throwing up isn't a condition; it's a symptom of MANY conditions. And when my dog then had pancreatitis for the first time ever, they used something totally unrelated to deny $3,000 worth of claims. Additionally, they don't actually tell you what all of the absurd things they're excluding are unless you specifically ask them to OR you file a claim-- so you spend months and months paying for a premium for a policy that turns out to be useless. ------------ Responding to Embrace's response: I would like to just point out that if my complaint is that you hide behind legalease rather than genuinely communicating what a customer's policy is... And your response to that is to hide behind more legalease, you're proving my point. Furthermore, my dog throwing up one time is not a pre-existing, underlying condition. It is an isolated symptom of something that has long since stopped. Not only is it in no way related to him experiencing acute pancreatitis long after my policy's waiting period, it is a gross misrepresentation of his medical history to exclude ALL future GI related issues based on an extremely common symptom that is applicable to many condtions.
