Do not purchase a policy with Spot
I regret going with Spot Insurance and paying upfront for a year. So far they have denied my claims, saying that it's a pre-existing condition. However, my cat was never treated for any of the issues before and the things he was treated for are in no way related to the claims I submitted. They make it impossible to get in touch with customer service to dispute a claim. Can't email or chat online - can only call. However, each time I tried to call I sat on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up. Do not go with this company. There has to be better options out there.

I was always skeptical about pet…
I was always skeptical about pet insurance, until I needed it. I’m so incredibly grateful that I have the insurance. My dog got very ill and I’ve had to spend minimal on finding solutions because of the reimbursement we get back.

My experience with Trupanion has generally been great. I have a cat that started experiencing seizures and nearly all of her treatment has been covered by Trupanion. I'm on about 2 years of treatment as of typing this and I can say without a doubt, Trupanion was integral in saving her life.
