This is a total SCAM
This is a total SCAM. I filed 7 claims over the course of a year, and ALL of them were denied. I canceled the insurance and the confirmed that it was canceled and then continued charging my credit card. STAY AWAY! UPDATE: Now they are claiming they can't even find my account after it was open for more than one year. Don't believe their reply about 92% of claims being honored. SEVEN of mine were denied. SCAM

Absolutely Awesome.
Absolutely Awesome. I was so tickled when I go onto the system and it was so user friendly. I have two pups and they usually go to the vet together. It is refreshing to be able to submit claims for both of them at the same time rather than doing a separate one for each pup (and submitting the same invoices on top of that). This was user friendly and very easy to follow.

I am trying to learn what insurance will help and what they won’t. The staff and vet office have been wonderful.sometimes the vet office will help you in making the claim for you. Since I am a widow, it hard cause I want to do everything right.

Happy with Healthy Paws
Our 8-year old Labrador Retriever was recently hospitalized for liver failure. He is doing well now, but his medical care was quite expensive and would have been a significant financial burden if we had not had pet insurance through Healthy Paws. I have been so pleased with the support we have received from Healthy Paws. I have been recommending it to all my friends. The claims process has been incredibly quick and easy. It is so nice to be able to make decisions based on what is best for our dog and not be overly stressed by the financial burden associated with his specialty care.

Literal life saver
My 1 year 4 month old pug was sleeping on the couch when he suddenly sat up, looked around and began to have a full Grand Mal Seizure for over 1 minute and 30 seconds! He was at the vet the week prior and had no previous or known health issues, watching this all unfold over our home security cameras I had to rush home and he proceeded to have another seizure before I arrived at home. We rushed him to the Animal hospital where they had to keep him overnight and where he had a third seizure. luckily I did my research and got insurance for him when I first got him, because it would have been almost $4,000 but after running it through Trupanion it was brought down to just $1,000 on the spot, and I was reimbursed $400 the following day when I picked him up, making the whole ordeal cost only about $600 in total. Not everyone has that kind of money laying around, like me, and it could be a matter of life and death, in this case it was a huge lifesaver and I'd recommend it to most anyone! But, I was informed by the vet technicians that they recently changed their policy so that seizures are no longer covered as a pre-existing condition, so if that is the case, it may not be the right one for you.
