The claims process was easy, but . . .
The claims process was easy. My veterinarian submitted it at the time of my appointment, and I was able to just pay my portion. The reason I gave only 4 stars is because the deductible and 90%/10% copay is misleading. I found out with this being my first claim that you have to pay 10% of the total bill before the deductible and then pay the deductible. This is totally opposite of what we are used to with our healthcare no matter what company we have. I see nowhere on the website where this is explained. Just be aware that this is how it works which costs the customer more out of pocket.

Pumpkin approved my claim within 20 minutes of me submitting it. After almost losing my sweet dog Zoey, it was so great to have this taken care without any additional stress. Pumpkin insurance and its employees are awesome!
