Poor Treatment of Long-Term Customers
I was a customer with Healthy Paws since 2016. I had surgery in 2022 and had some payment items change. Typically my bank forwards my information to new providers during a card change, but apparently that did not happen with HealthyPaws. When I finally noticed the payment issue after several months I called Healthy Paws to reinstate my service and they said they could not do that and I needed to re-enroll. I asked if they could waive the waiting period because I had been a loyal customer for years and never even filed a claim. They said they could not do that. I think this is a terrible way to treat a loyal customer who made an honest mistake. I will not be using this service again. To pre-empt their response - I used a different email for the account I had with them long-term. The email attached here is my new email.

Not very helpful when you need it.
Someone broke into my vehicle and stole my camera bag, i have contents coverage under my policy. This happened a month ago, still no idea on what’s going on, my online profile says i dont even have a claim filed. I had called them in regards to that just to be questioned as to why i was in such a rush to get this resolved… I dont think my family will be renewing our policy, this has been brutal experience and I’ve been left in the dark since the beginning. Worth noting of all the adjusters they could have assigned to my case, they stick me with the one who went on a week long staycation once they right off the bat and going away again at the end of the month so I’ve been told. Cant help but feel like this wont be resolved anytime soon.

Among the best pet insurance provider
Moving forward, this will be a company I will faithfully stick to and choose to ensure any future pet I adopt. I had to take my cat to the emergency vet in his procedure ended up costing close to $4000. It is extremely stressful when your pet is going through a medical emergency on top of the fees associated with getting them the necessary medical care they need. Petsbest gave me a lot of peace of mind because of how easy, fast, the claims process was. I really didn’t even have to talk to anybody, I just uploaded my receipt and was reimbursed a little over a week and a half later. On the rare occasion I do talk to customer service personnel they are always very friendly and willing to help me as much as they can. I think this is a phenomenal business to go through for pet insurance. You just have to be aware of what they do and don’t cover, the customer service representatives are always able to answer any questions I have. I believe their prices are fair and generally have no complaints with this company, I would highly recommend anybody considering getting pet insurance.
