Fair plan that covers many costs for my 2 Rescues
I have had ASPCA insurance on my 2 rescues a couple years now. My experience has been that it is best to ask your Vet for Soap notes and medical records to submit with the invoice claim you file for a better outcome. I have had most claims paid and the company is reasonable just lacking communication between customer service and claim reps as I had to keep calling to get information updated. This seems to be a recent issue as it didn’t occur when I first purchased my insurance plans. I like the direct deposit option for reimbursement which expected the process a bit.

Premium Fees Continue to Increase
I have been a Trupanion customer for almost 20 years but their price increases are getting ridiculous. My most recent increase was 33% to a monthly premium of $210 with a $600 per incident deductible. I live in a small city with limited access to high tech vet care and I have only ever had 1 small claim in 8 years with my current dog, so I really feel this increase is unwarranted. I already moved my young dog with no pre-existing conditions to another company last year because of the premium increases.

Unclear verbiage.
I'm used to typical insurance policies. I just filed a claim for my dog for $616.85. In the insurance world, my $500 deductible would leave a balance of $116.85, and then 80% of that would be covered (or in this case be reimbursed). That's NOT how ManyPets works. They took my $616.85 and said that only $493.48 was covered, as that's 80% of the total, and I still have $6.52 left to pay toward my deductible.
