The price is very good for the coverage and quality you get from this company. Signing up wasn’t a hassle and submitting a claim was easy as well. The reimbursement didn’t take long and the App keeps you updated throughout the whole process.

Premium increase
My premium was increased this year for no apparent reason. My cat has never been sick and I have not used the insurance. They claim it is due to rising operating costs, an increase in Vet fees, and my cat’s age. My auto rate only goes up if I get a ticket or get in accident. My health insurance premium does not go up if I get sick. If my pet insurance premium is increased every year, by the time my cat needs a Vet I’ll have paid so much for insurance over the years I’ll be lucky to break even, particularly if you take the deductible into account. I had pet insurance years ago and my premium increases were modest and few over the years. When my dog fell ill and had to be euthanized the insurance reimbursement was a great help. It appears all these companies operate on the same business model. I don’t know if the insurance is worth it in the long run.

Total fraud
Paid premiums for 2 years for 2 dogs. My first claims were denied even though all information was submitted and my vet attempted to communicate with them multiple times. They left the vet on hold until the line disconnected multiple times instead of working with them, then immediately closed my claim for “lack of response” even with all documentation, history, and multiple email communications. I wish I’d never given them a penny.

Getting claims in have been a smooth process and the claims adjuster always gets back in a timely manner. Only gripe I have is they always ask about pets medical record everytime I submit a claim.

Love having insurance on our babies
Love having insurance on our babies , paying up front is tough sometimes , but I know my babies are taken care of and Spot will take care of us ! Didn’t have insurance on our first Boy regrettably had we maybe he would have been with us longer , these babies can get expensive!
