We have had the most horrible…
We have had the most horrible experience with Trupanion! Worst insurance ever! Turns out they have a deductible for each medical condition and we have to pay a co-insurance for each claim! And they don’t cover all the costs on the bill, like the exam fee and more. We are out 5k and according to how they process claims we don’t get any money back. My dog had two separate issues at the same time. On top of that! They wouldnt cover our dogs hematoma stating it was allergies so our doctor had to write the correct reason which was from trauma. Our other dog had bit her ear for months. Well they finally covered it but only a small portion goes towards the deductible. This company is the biggest scam on Earth. Such a waste of money we have been paying for years.

Our Izzey
Our Izzey has Healthy Paws and I am ver pleased. Unfortunately this year has not been a good one for Izzey. In October she tore her ACL on her right leg. She did very well and Healthy Paw accepted our bill and paid 70% of her surgery. The customer service was wonderful. At the time Izzey’s doctor said she would probably need surgery on her other leg. Healthy Paws again covered the expenses. They also wrote a “Get Well” note to Izzey and asked how she was doing.They were great and I am glad we have this insurance.

Happy I Signed Up With Spot
It was easy to file a claim and I called in and the agent was very helpful. I did a thorough search before I selected Spot (I have another pet with a competitor) and I'm glad I picked Spot!

Since Nationwide changed to Petinsurance.com I have not had a good experience with them.
since the first of the year I started having problems getting my claims processed, When the price of Vetsulin went up from 69 dollars to 71 dollars. I asked why they informed me that they need proof of my 13 year old Diabetic dogs Vetsulin price increase. I sent the email from Chewy where we get our Vetsulin why the price went up as they asked this was May 1st.... Today I went out to I have sent proof of Vetsulin increase. I went to the site to check status of the claims that have been denied… and all claims seem to have had no changes or no actions taken… I will start next week investigating a new pet insurance company. Since Nationwide has changed to petinsurance.com it seems that company have dropped its loyalty to pet owners. I have been a member since 2017.. This is not a good way to treat your loyal customers. Why should a customer be loyal to the company if the company is not loyal to the customer.
