Top-Notch Customer Service
I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance for all those seeking quality care for members of our pet family. My dog had to have emergency life-saving surgery a few weeks ago. Not only did members of the Embrace team make sure his medical history was up to date, but they processed the claim in a very timely fashion. No one wants to have to use pet insurance in this way, but I was so grateful I had made the investment--not only in purchasing pet insurance, but in holding my pet insurance with Embrace. I hope anyone reading this review has the same level of excellent customer care when engaging with the team from Embrace as I did.

I wouldn’t even give them one star
I wouldn’t even give them one star! It is nothing but a robbery scam. My wife got this policy before she passed away from cancer last year. I have been paying on for over five hundred dollars to date. I tried to use it for an expensive medical treatment and I have been told that due to the fact that there are no prior medical records before the policy I am unable to make a claim. My wife handled the bills prior to her passing and I have no idea about any of these dealings but suffice to say that Embrace was happy to take my money knowing I had a useless policy. Nothing has been offered except verbal apologies. They not only stole my money but they stole my time, a lot of times, countless hours on hold and being transferred back and forth. The young lady that tried to help me was very pleasant and sincere. She tried everything in her power to help and eventually ended up refunding $20 and cancelled my policy per my request. Do yourself a favor and make a savings fund for your pets. This company will make it so difficult just so they don’t have to pay for your claim. Most horrible experience I’ve ever had with insurance companies. I don’t even think they deserve one star.

Highly Recommend Trupanion
We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Jack last night after battling a disease called PIMA for the last six months. To say we were stressed and ultimately completely devastated is putting it mildly. Thru it all a Trupanion has stood by us steadfast and true. We have not had a single problem with a single payment for our Jacks medical expenses at all. We cannot say enough good things about Trupanion. In fact we have had ALL of our pets, 2 dogs and 2 cats insured and we find the rates to be more than fair. We trust them implicitly for the best service and by extension the best care for our pets. We Highly Recommend them to everyone we know.
I just filed a claim thru ASPCA
I just filed a claim thru ASPCA. The form was easy to fill out and they acknowledged it quickly. My claim was thru the Wellness program. I filed it on weekend and by Tuesday I received their email that it was under review! I had given the information for direct deposit. Wednesday they sent an email it was approved and by Friday the payment was in my bank. I'm so glad I found ASPCA and look forward to working with them taking care of my little man Buddy.

Disappointed first experience
Our rescue had been having an allergic reaction to something since we adopted her about a year ago. We have tried multiple meds both over counter and prescription, as well as switching foods to different types of meat, grain free. We’ve tried it all to lessen her symptoms. Benadryl daily worked for a little bit, which is when our vet suggested the allergy shots. With our dogs weight (70lbs) the shot alone would be close to $200, which every 3-4 months adds up. A coworker highly recommended ManyPets to help cover the cost of the allergen shots as that was our last resort before shelling out the couple hundred bucks to do the full allergy testing. It was disappointing to be told after filing a claim that due to her allergy issue being a preexisting condition that we are unable to have that covered by the policy. She has also had anal gland expression issues even with fiber supplements and a high fiber diet. While I was not looking for pet insurance to fully cover this expense, it was disappointed to learn that they would not be covering those expenses as well until she is symptom free/not medically treated for at least 18months. I would recommend ManyPets to think about a specific coverage plan for senior rescues.
