my experiences during the year I was covered with MetLife were OK, while there was much bureaucracy getting things set up, claims went smoothly once all the required materials were submitted. My complaint and reason for a two star rating is a doubling of the cost of my policy from year one to year two. I did not have excessive claims, and there was no reason for this. I had to drop my coverage and move elsewhere and I’m very displeased as a result

Lymphoma journey
Last year, my dog Sophie was diagnosed with canine multicentric lymphoma, which was an incredibly difficult and emotional experience. Fortunately, I had Spot Pet Insurance in place beforehand, and thanks to their coverage, I’ve been able to afford the chemotherapy and oncology care she needs. This has given us the precious gift of more time with her. I am deeply grateful for Spot Pet Insurance. The claims process has been simple and efficient, with reimbursements typically processed in under a week. I truly cannot overstate how essential this insurance has been for Sophie’s care and how thankful I am for the support they’ve provided throughout this journey. I highly recommend Spot Pet Insurance—10 out of 10.

Trupanion was there when I needed the…
Trupanion was there when I needed the insurance to help cover emergency expenses for my cat. The vet emergency service, Gulf Coast Veterinary Services worked with my insurance company, Trupanion, every step of the way to make the difficult experience manageable so that my cat could be treated and diagnosed quickly. Trupanion made the process very manageable so that my cat could receive expert vet care. Although his prognosis is difficult, the process was made the best of thanks to Trupanion. I am very thankful that I insured my pets early in their lives so that when they do need expert vet care, it can be available for them. Buddy is at home now living out the rest of the time I have with him with more comfort because of this process Thanks Trupanion!
