The staff at Trupanion are friendly, have great knowledge, and really care about your pet. I even received a call after my girl was diagnosed with Auto Immune. They just wanted to know how she was doing. WOW!!!

Submitted a claim for an emergency my dog had involving a bite from another dog. Claim was held up for over a month due to a completely unrelated matter from a year ago. I understand the need to perform due diligence, but the hold up with this claim was completely unnecessary.

The turnaround for claims
When I initially inquired for the insurance - it was great. All my questions answered etc. Had to do a wellness check which was fine when in and had it done - but why does claims take so long? This was my first one and I can already say I am not impressed. I just have in review - all documents were submitted right away so I am not understanding. I know I won't get any $$ back this time as my deducted needs to be used first but.....I am not impressed so far........I know I'm new but I am not understanding.

Healthy Paws is a great insurance company for pets. We have used them for all 3 of our dogs and always had great customer service. Their online forms are easy to fill out and the turn around time is excellent, they honestly have a team that understands their customers concerns and the compassion to help their situations to be less stressful.

The emergency/accident/injury insurance…
The emergency/accident/injury insurance is amazing! Fast reimbursements and an easy-to-use app. The prevention is good, but we max out before the end of the year. Still I would choose Spot Pet Insurance again.
