SO FAR….it has been a fine experience. People should be mindful while initially choosing an upper yearly benefit limit that once chosen you cannot increase for the life of the policy Check other companies as some of the others will not require you to meet a yearly deductible for ongoing treatment of the same issue. This can be critical if you have a breed of dog prone to certain traits.

HealthyPaws Saved the Day!
HealthyPaws saved the day! Our corgi had to have emergency surgery only three short months after we adopted her. The initial estimate was $10,000; the final bill was $7,888. Thankfully, I had signed her up with HealthyPaws as soon as we got her. It was fast and simple to file the claim (send them the invoice and the medical records). HealthyPaws paid immediately after providing the required information. They even sent a follow-up email asking how she was doing. Without HealthyPaws we would have been facing a choice no parent should have to make. With the exorbitant cost of veterinary bills, you really must have insurance if only for peace of mind, and hopefully you will never have to use it. We highly recommend HealthyPaws!

Policy cost doubled in 2 years
When my policy cost doubled in 2 years I called to get a lower coverage. I never got a return phone call regarding the overpayment I had, which included a premium at both the higher and lower cost. Now I will have to take the time to call again and find out what is going on. Poor customer service.

Great insurance
My puppy is older and it was very hard finding insurance that wasn't hundreds of dollars. I found lemonade and it was everything I wanted. From yearly wellness coverage to a virtual vet to fast responses. I love them and will use them for any future pet I have.
