2 Puppies cost money
I have had this insurance since my dogs were puppies. They are now 9 years old and I am continually impressed with the coverage of my Embrace insurance. 2 Puppies cost money and with this insurance, I can give them the best of care,. The claims are easy to submit and the communication can't be beat. Thank you Embrace

Is good the Insurance but too Pricie
So, my dog has been insured for almost 11 years now and at the beginning I paid $34, now I have to pay $216, it's terrible, I pay more for my dog than for myself. I have the 80/20 plan.

I’m not happy with my experience with…
I’m not happy with my experience with embrace. When I first spoke with them before I decided to enroll my rescue dog I told them I have limited information for him. I asked would this be a problem getting claims paid. They assured me it wouldn’t be. I’ve put inn2 claims niw and neither of them had been paid. The reason why because they don’t have soap notes from one if the vets my rescue has seen in another state. I’ve call these vets and they don’t release his information to me because I wasn’t the owner at the time. I feel this company tell you what ever will get you to enroll your pet with them. I have another dog enrolled with nationwide and I’ve had very little problems with that company.

Performance Dog Agility Injury
Coming from another insurance company, the claim process is as easy however I found I was not able to leave any explanation or comment. Also, there were no instructions for how to receive payment. On my previous company's claim site, everything was right there from the beginning. By not having a place for explanation/comment, I feel I will have to guide my veterinarian on how to comment as the practice is extremely busy and sometimes the vet notes are not as descriptive as necessary.
Just Don't
Signed up for Trupanion when my dog was just under a year old & they quoted me $48, then increased it to $64, then $74, & now, 3 years later, they are attempting to increase it to $115 with their reason being: "We've paid more than $30,000,000 in claims for Florida pets alone. However, with our new Florida plan, we didn't get our pricing right-- which means we haven't been charging our members enough based on the value they are receiving" 1) What value? My policy doesn't even include preventative care 2) Because OTHERS filed claims, my rate has to increase? ...They do not care about your pet, just their own pockets.

Insane yearly renewal increases.
I thought the company was great because of the coverage I got for the price monthly for an older dog. However, my policy just renewed and it went up from 80$ to 150$ per month which is more than my own insurance as a human. My dog is older (9) but we had no claims and no health issues last year, so no reason for the insane increase besides their algorithm. Beware! I will be switching due to a 47% increase if you’re looking for pet insurance. They said 25-35% is the average yearly increase.
