VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SPOT
I have had SPOT for 4 years plus now. Initially things went "ok" with claims, until now. I submit a claim and they are sitting on it. I have now sent 2 emails with the current clinical and treatment plan from my vet; while on phone "oh it's not coming through....I sent tit again,,,,,reluctantly, after about 1o minutes "Oh we have it now"; BOTH days I was given this nonsense. After I sent first email I get an email response that it will take 2 to 4 weeks for them to process my claim!!!!!!!!! This is absurd. I am being treated like I'm trying to get something for nothing. Not sure I will continue with this company after being treated this way. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SPOT AND THE WAY I AM BEING TREATED. My dog has been sick for couple of months now and vet trying to figure out what is wrong. I wasn't treated this way with my previous claims. UPDATE: A day or 2 after I wrote this the claim was processed and approved and I have received my reimbursement. Nothing was said about my review here. Thank you for taking the time to respond now.

I have always had a positive experience…
I have always had a positive experience with Embrace. It is easy to submit claims refunds are deposited directly into my checking account within a few days of approved claim(s). Also, customer service associated are easy to talk to and very helpful. I also recently lost a pet and Embrace was very compassionate. They sent me a beautiful sympathy card with seeds embedded with instructions on how to plant it to create a memorial for my Bently. I was very touched. I highly recommend Embrace pet insurance.

Terrible
I’ve been fighting an appeal for claims that should undoubtedly be covered for the past 4 months. I’ve given multiple letters and had to push back extensively, even highlighting a failure in your own insurance plan definition to show I should be covered. The original person handling my claim did not even correctly share my state laws with regards to what is covered after initially declining my claim. This has been anything but a smooth or enjoyable.

Easy to signup, not clear coverage
The insurance signup process is good, but it is unclear once you’re using the insurance what will be covered. Even with the wellness plan, lots of wellness items are not covered by a single cent.
