Can be a literal life saver.
I got a policy for my kitten when she was first adopted, never imagining we would need it. Just before she turned 2, she required extensive medical care, and the policy was a life-saver. The claim was paid quickly, without hassle. And now she’s back to her normal self. Thanks to Spot, we didn’t have to make difficult decisions, and also have significantly improved the quality of life for our kitten.

Healthy Paws insurance covered so much for my dog!
I have had Healthy Paws insurance for one of my dogs since he was a puppy and he is now 7 years old. I have been very pleased with the coverage and service I receive from Healthy Paws. I am reimbursed for eligible services days after submission to Healthy Paws. Over this past year my dog has been treated for an unknown shoulder injury that just seems to defy the many approaches to rid him of his pain. Healthy Paws has covered all the treatments submitted and continues to do so as we get closer to a diagnosis that will hopefully result in resolving his pain, muscle atrophy and limping. I recently switched my other dog over to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance because of the great coverage and customer service I receive from Healthy Paws!

We had to make a claim one month after we got coverage. My puppy swallowed a large stone which required emergency surgery. Expensive bill & Embrace reimbursed us quickly! We’re so impressed with the service!

Responsive service but expensive
I tried trazedone one time to see if it would work for my dog’s fireworks anxiety, as many dogs have. Because it was listed in the medical records, the initial review noted that she was ‘anxious’. Other than loud noises, she is the sweetest and most calmest dog! My second year premium increased by 53% and the following year by 38%. When questioned about this, none of the reasons they offered, including blaming the state department of insurance, can justify over a 100% increase in two years! To be fair the claims process is quick and user friendly. Response times are reasonable and the staff is very professional and considerate.

BEWARE of MetLife renewal and raising cost 40% !
-------After having policy with MetLife for several years and now second dog - we never had a complaint EXCEPT now ! At our renewal they raised the pricing 40% -- no formal letter although they state it was sent in an email 60 days ago ?? regardless how outrageous ! we only used a small portion of our benefit ! I will be shopping around tomorrow. -
