Rates Go Up But Not Benefits
Rates Go Up But Not Benefits - They offer a generally comparable product, however the rates increase every year. At first this didn't bother me as they were only going up $3-4 each month a year, but suddenly it is skyrocketing. Almost a $20 per month increase. I already reduced coverage a few years ago since rates kept creeping up, but it was just too much. You can find the same or better coverage elsewhere for less. Rates more than tripled in the past eight years (with zero claims).

Amazing, personal rep Steffie
Today I purchased coverage for both of my pups. Steffi was absolutely amazing She took the time to explain all the questions I had, and in details she was a pleasure to talk to I felt like I knew her forever. I'm so glad I actually got to talk to her today. And now I have coverage for my babies.

First time claim submission for Embrace
This was my first time submitting claims for both of my cats to Embrace. Their online form was easy to submit the claim. However there was some confusion because of our having moved and changed vets. When I sent emails to clarify which vets provided treatment it didn't seem like anyone read them. I called and spoke with an agent to clarify the situation and then it seems like the information got to the adjusters. So overall it worked out fine but it wasn't exactly seemless.

They paid $5000 of a $7000 bill
They paid $5000 of a $7000 bill. That makes the cost manageable for me.

Update to previous review.
I have an update to the review that I submitted a couple of weeks ago. I received a call back from a customer "care" person and we discussed my case. (It was where my claim was a couple of days late being submitted due to a personal medical emergency where I was unable to submit). He was insistent that they would not honour the claim. He then asked what I wanted them to do about it and I told him to pay the claim as I pay premiums for eligible expenses. His reply to me was "it is not for us to pay the claim, we are in the insurance business after all". Intimating that their job is to refuse as many claims as possible. Find another insurance company that works with their clients and doesn't blatantly state their job is to refuse legitimate claims.
