We should have bought pet health insurance years ago.
We've had dogs since 1981, and never had health insurance for them. Based on the ease of claims, speed of payment, and breadth of coverage (including wellness) we should have had pet insurance sooner. Figo has been very easy to claim for our newly adopted beagle. Our last beagle had cancer, which we paid for ourselves ($$$$) and even her final illness was thousands.

Why I recommend spot insurance.
Charlie my 2 year old Havanese needed surgery for her cherry eye. It was fast and easy to submit the claim. Processing and reimbursement was quick as well. Very happy with our choice to go with Spot insurance. So far have not needed to contact customer support. Have submitted several other claims since joining about a year ago, same great overall experience for all.
