Trupanion 1st claim.
Just filed 1st claim with Trupanion pet insurance for our MC. Our kitty is 1 year old as of January this year, our Trupanion insurance is fairly new. So glad we have this insurance, the Trupanion team were wonderful, they paid out our claim minus deductible and special food we purchased. I cannot thank them enough for reviewing and honoring the claim. I would highly recommend Trupanion for anyone who has a pet they wish to insure. The process took only two days after filing our claim online, the process was simple and quick. Our MC is still undergoing up coming specialists appointments for the as of yet, undiagnosed weight loss. Thank you Trupanion for being there.

They raised my rate 67% despite having…
They raised my rate 67% despite having no claims and a pet under 4 without any health issues. They also did a bait and switch where they said if I made no claims for the year I’d get my deductible lowered by $50 each year I didn’t have a claim. Then as soon as I was eligible for said deal they said it was no longer available.

Super-pleased so far!
I adopted a new pup on February 1 and I think it was February 3 that I joined Figo based on three recommendations that I really trusted. So far, I am really glad I went with them, although admittedly I have no point of comparison, this being my first pet insurance; but I enjoy the app and being able to keep all the records in one place and everything seems super easy. And I have already placed one claim, for a vaccine, and 12 hours later they had approved it under my coverage! It hasn’t cleared my account yet, but they may be as much due to my bank as anything else.
