I currently feel as if I am dealing…
I currently feel as if I am dealing with the insurance adjusters that work for the boss on the Incredibles. They are finding ways to not cover issues that should not be considered bilateral or preexisting in any way. As a reply to embrace. For more details. How is a corneal ulcer in anyway considered preexisting to a cherry eye that was in a separate eye? A bilateral that is a completely different diagnosis. Currently working on an appeal but feel I really shouldn’t have to fight this. My account with you under Mike.keiser Thank you for your time to respond.

Save your money; they cover very little
Had insurance for over 10months on a new puppy. The very first claim I tried to make after the full 10 months for upset tummy/ diarrhea, they came up with every excuse they could to not cover 1/10th of what I had already paid. My sister had great luck with them but I found much better off self insuring and saving the copious amounts of money I paid them to cover even the worst of bills I’d ever get from vet. So disappointed. Total scam.

Accident Prone Puppy
Unfortunately we adopted a very accident prone puppy. Spot insurance has been great! Their customer service is next to none.

Embrace for our 13 yr old pup
We starting using Embrace about 2 1/2 years ago and started when our pup was already a senior at 11. While some things are considered pre-existing, like his arthritis issues (he had 2 ACL surgeries prior to insurance) - we have had success in using insurance for other things. As an example, a mass was just found on his spleen (luckily benign!), submitting claims has been very easy for the related ultrasound, surgery, etc. So far we have not had any issues with a claim being denied. I will never be without pet insurance again!

Do everything to avoid reimbursing you.
They do everything to avoid reimbursing you anything. All that it is good for is (hopefully) major issues or major accidents, otherwise they deny every claim. They pay for no preventative, no wellness and go WAYY out of their way to classify anything under the sun as a "pre exisiting condition"

If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would. I was just denied a claim, my dog is 14 and my premiums are $470 per month. This company is awful. My vet went to great lengths explaining and appealing Trupanions decision to deny and they refused. Now I’m in a complete bind. Do I cancel a policy now costing me $470 per month that I’ve been paying for, for 14 years or do I wing it and hope they won’t be this unreasonable and heartless if I file a claim which I have no doubt I will have to given her age. Disgusting and heart breaking.
