You payed less than half of my claim. The total bill/claim was directly from the vet. I went in for one reason only. The only reason you got two stars was because of the first claim or I would have given you one.

Spot was my first experience with…having pet insurance and making a claim and am very impressed with how easy and professional the entire process was.

Spot was my first experience with having pet insurance. As with any new relationship with a company I had questions about how easy and competent the processes would be if I needed to make a claim. I signed my two dogs up and in less than a month one of them needed veterinary care for a foreign object lodged in her nasal cavity. Two procedures a couple of weeks apart to resolve the issue. The claim process was very easy and straight forward. Review of the claim was done in a few days. On the first claim I had the check mailed to me, which I have not yet received, but expect too soon. The second claim made two weeks after the first I signed up for direct deposit and that payment was in the account a few days after the claim was approved.

Direct deposit issue resolved

My claim showed that it was paid via direct deposit over three weeks ago. No sign of the deposit. I called to inquire and was told the billing department would investigate. After a couple of additional days the claims was paid. I'm not sure what happened. Hopefully, the direct deposit will be smoother from here on out. No other issues after almost 7 years.

A huge waste of time.

So far I've had the full coverage including preventative care and I don't find it very helpful. It is very difficult as well to submit a claim presently the website won't allow me to get the claim submitted. It wastes my time and is frustrating.

Great insurance but huge premium increase after a year

Over all I really enjoy the self serve options of building your own policy and pricing out the costs. I thought I was getting an amazing premium for insuring two nice cars. The only downside is that now since my renewal is coming my premiums went up almost 1200 for the year for absolutely no fault of my own. No claims, no accidents, clean driving record. But I understand insurance companies need to base their premiums off a generic algorithm which I think is unfair. I've been with other companies for 10 years and never had such a big increase. So that is my only downside. I would reccomend for anyone who wants to be in charge of their own policy and having access at your finger tips. But im stuck on staying or shopping around to see if there's a better offer out there. Overall customer service has been good as well. So not many complaints other then the premium hike.

We switched to Embrace a year ago after…

We switched to Embrace a year ago after the company we had almost doubled their rates. You hope to never have to use the insurance, however our dog became ill this summer with Poly Arthritis. Through numerous claims the last few months, Embrace has been excellent to deal with. Claims are easy to file, and Embrace is quick to process. I highly recommend this company when it comes to pet insurance.
