Monthly payments

Had this insurance for my Doberman for 3 years , 4 days ago, the first time I filed a few claims that I was holding due to the luck of time to deal with it. Today, I looked at my bank account and my policy went up from 233.00 a month to 309.00 amount .the original quote I got was 133.00. I really don't understand why his insurance is as high as mine. I did not received yet any reimbursement for the bills. So for now I gave 2 stars. Lets see what happens maybe I will change the review.

Great experience and value of coverage for the premium paid. Walter has been with them for two years now while Betty was added six months ago. They need our love and coverage.

Although sometimes they take a while to process a claim, I feel they are fair and pay according to the policy.

Just bad all around

I’m so disappointed with this company. It took almost 4wks to get the claim processed and I got less than half of the cost of my pets vet visit back. I haven’t gotten the money yet tho. Just the decision on how much they would pay. My step mom has Lemonade pet insurance and got her money back SAME DAY and she got the ACTUAL 90% back.

I wish I could make this 0 stars

EDIT: Note the canned response and hollow apology below. You can look forward to "but it's actually your fault" when you have an issue with them. They are giving you a preview below. I wish I could make this 0 stars. What a terrible and dishonest company. I should have spent more time doing research and not choosing based on the discount I received. They will not pay your claim. They will make it as painful as possible and will drag it out as long as they can to get you to give up. They will throw up roadblocks, ignore you, and ultimately find some weak loophole to deny your claim. We lost our dog recently, and very unexpectedly. She evidently had heart cancer of a type known to be a sudden killer. There was no evidence of this illness prior to us taking her to the vet due to a cough. We made medical decisions based on the fact we had insurance and were past our "waiting period". Embrace not only denied paying anything and left me holding a $5000 bill, but they made me relive the entire thing every time I was forced to deal with their awful adjusters over months and months. My dog has been seeing the same vet regularly for 10 years. We saw an emergency vet and a veterinary cardiologist. All of them stated that even if our dog had been seen a just week before her illness manifest, no one would have found it and it would have been too late by months anyway. Classifying her illness as "pre-existing" is laughable, and all three vets were shocked when told. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs. They are a terrible, unethical company. Shame on Embrace.
