Surprisingly the best insurance for my sweet pet

Met Life Pet Insurance is surprisingly easy to file claims and make payments. If there are questions about a claim they will call you so that your claim is not delayed. I cannot say enough good things about Met Life Pet Insurance

My premium went up 136% increase in one year

I strongly encourage pet owners to NOT go with ManyPets as they are gouging their customers pretty terribly. In their latest renewal notice, I was informed that the insurance for my 5-year-old-boxer is increasing 136% in one year. Going from about $70 per month to over $160. This is particularly harmful because if I want to leave their company, some of my dog's health concerns will now be considered pre-existing conditions. This is a huge breach of trust that will have lasting impacts for my pet. I, personally, don't think any caring owner should entrust their pet's health in the hands of this terrible company.

Spot forever for my dog

I can only say good things from Spot, unfortunately, we had to use our insurance twice last year and Spot refunded as per the terms of our insurance agreements, no hidden fees, fast processing, fast refuns, I will definitely continue using them. Totally worth it.

"Embracers" are a great group who care

I was unhappy with my previous pet insurance. Emily helped me with coverage questions then helped me navigated the purchase process. Later a customer service representative helped me register my policy when I made a password error. Everyone was knowledgeable and pleasant.

Best Decision I Made

I don’t make reviews often, but I had to give credit where it’s due. I put off buying insurance for my cat, and one random night bought a policy through ASPCA with basically no research (very much not like me) and thank god I did. Shortly after my cat began having asthma and later had been diagnosis with a heart condition as well. Thankfully due to the insurance I was able to give him the care he needed such as the cardiologist appointments, inhalers, medications, etc. without worry. Every single claim went through without and issue and posted into my account. Processing would sometimes take a bit but I never had any issues with a single claim. Sadly a few weeks ago he passed away very unexpectedly. Dealing with the emergency vet bills, cremation services and just being completely heart broken I couldn’t do much. A week later I finally submitted the claim, not even bothering to look through any information on what would be covered and didn’t think twice. I put off cancelling the account (it made me too sad) but when I went on it was closed out for me which was a very big emotional relief for me. Today when I came home I received a handwritten letter from ASPCA with their condolences on my loss. This was just something I did not expect, but really did mean so much. Loosing him has been such a struggle, but I cannot be more grateful that I was able to spend the time I did with him and never worry about choosing between his care or my financial well-being. I could not recommend them more.

Easy process to submit claims

The process to submit claims is so smooth and easy. I always request the vets receptionist to have my invoices sent to me in an e-mail, it makes it much easier to submit claims. Additionally, I must say I am pleased on the turnaround on reimbursement for claims submitted. I have been a customer for almost 5 years and I have never had a negative experience.
