Easy to submit, sometimes slow to approve
My dog came with her Embrace insurance from the previous owner - the transfer was easy, and when we had an emergency almost immediately it was so easy to submit everything for reimbursement. Every person I've spoken to on the phone when I had questions has been able to answer them, or been able to easily find the answer for me. The reimbursement process has been a little slower than the company I use for my cats, but I'm fortunate to not need it to be done immediately. Some of them have been approved in 1-2 days, while some of the larger expenses have taken 7-10 days. My only complaint is that the app never works to submit claims - I can always view the claims after they've been approved but every time I try to submit one the app crashes so I just do it all in an actual computer browser now.

Security is essential for me with my dog
I love my pets and have had them insured always with Embrace. There have been times when they have needed expensive care and having Embrace has resulted in my paying a minimal amount. They always reimburse me within days. So glad to have them.

My cat died and I tried to cancel her…
My cat died and I tried to cancel her on the policy. Could not do it online. Had to call and be on hold 25 minutes. Put in a claim for my cat and had her name and receipt. They put the claim on my other cat. AWFUL. Nothing good to say about Embrace.

Illogical and Cowardly
$143/month for my GSD. Developed anal sacculitis (anal gland infection). Veterinarian prescribed strict Hydrolized food diet in an attempt to recitify the condition as last ditch effort prior to surgery and removal of anal glands. Pets Plus Us approved all related anal sacculitis vet visits but not the Hydrolized food diet. Because I tried it once a long time ago (prior to Pets Plus Us) in attempt to help with her allergies (I ceased as it was ineffective) and claimed that the food is part of "prexisting condition". Food is used as treatment modality for her anal sacculitis and it has been effective. Still fighting them. Otherwise it's fine. Don't get the impression this medical insurance provider is any different than the others. These guys are sleezy too. They hide behind insurance language and speak more than others I find. So be prepared to be inundated by extreme court like lanagauge and behaviour as well as stalling tactics.
