My beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever went in for a routine tooth check, and thankfully, my excellent vet detected a minor heart murmur during the exam. I immediately took action, found a veterinary cardiologist, and got her heart thoroughly evaluated to determine the next steps. Filing claims is extremely easy, but
Filing claims is extremely easy. At the beginning, it took FOREVER for claims to be closed. Now it is going a little quicker. They have denied items based on reading documents incorrectly causing me to have to file an appeal. I too signed up because they are associated with Costco. The one thing I can count on…..they definitely take their premiums on time!

Their policy: "Deny, Deny, Deny"
Every claim that I made was at first denied. I had to call Spot and fight with them each time in order to get any payment at all. And this after turning in invoices that clearly stated annual exams, vaccines, fecal tests, etc. They claimed I turned in an invoice for vitamins. I only turned in two claims while with Spot and both were denied and then paid after I called them and complained.
