Trupanion experience
Invoices, medical notes and documents were easily uploaded to Trupanion's portal. I pay a very high premium for Nelson's insurance, I was amazed at how items were not covered.
In one of the most stressful times with our pet, they took some of the stress away. They reply promptly to the emails and the agents were kind and compassionate. If I were to get another pet I will get trupanion.
I was asked how my experience was with the customer service rep.
I was asked how my experience was with the customer service rep. On the phone, she was amazing. However, she said that she would email me regarding my questions after speaking to her superiors and I have yet to hear from her. Also understanding what is and isn’t covered and why I have a balance at my vet’s office has been a pain. I wish there was an app and things were a little less of a mess. I feel like like none is ever on the same page. My vet does direct billing and it seems like no one there even knows how to do it. Maybe Trupanion should make sure staff is trained or something. Basically... there is no consistency and I’m always chasing paperwork. It’s a full time job.
I think your coverage is becoming quite expensive even though we do have an older cat.
I think your coverage is becoming quite expensive, even though we do have an older cat. After all, the deductible is $500--and rarely do our vet bills exceed that.
