Duke 3 Yr Old Shih Tzu
"We have a 3yr old shih tzu who had digestive/gastrointestinal problems, dehydration, and pneumonia. We intially took him to Thrive Pet Emergency but he was transferred to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital, San Antonio in Crital Care Condition. We paid for his care and filed a claim with Pet's Best Insurance. The claim process was very simple. Duke's Claim was processed in a timely manner. Thank you Pet's Best. I have recommended your insurance to every pet owner I come in contact with.👌 "
DO NOT spend your money on FETCH Pet…
DO NOT spend your money on FETCH Pet Insurance. My dog got very sick in October! After placing a claim for my dog’s medical expenses, FETCH asked for medical records dating back to 2020. Despite providing the necessary documentation, the claim was denied without clear communication, and I have struggled to get responses from customer service. Please consider this feedback before thinking about going with FETCH insurance. Your pet’s well-being and your own mental health are vital! Giving them a one-star rating is too generous for their lack of support and communication.

Not worth it
They charge a lot and unless you have the one off where your animal needs a huge surgery it’s not worth it. They started out at around $20 something a month. Then they went up to $80 a month - per pet !!! 3 of which had never had any claims. Plus deductible per pet. Start a saving plan and put the $240 a month in the bank and add on the deductible per year and realize you are not saving anything. Keep in mind insurance is a business to make money. Don’t waste your money. A lot of things are not covered. Make sure you are aware.

Very reliable
Very reliable, the claim was finished within the 2 week timeframe. Had to talk with customer service and they were helpful.

Fast, easy--naming uploaded docs is the only difficulty
Not having to resubmit vet records for the past 2 years (since I just did that for my 1st/most recent claim). My only complaint about uploading files is that we cannot name them something that makes sense to us--they are given a "random" name & that means nothing to users, so if you are uploading docs over a few days, it's difficult to tell which docs have already been uploaded. Can you please change then naming convention to be editable by the users?

*Updated* Lengthy wait time only to find my claim…
***updating my review because after many problems, they did resolve things and reimburse my claim. The next claim I submitted was taken care of very quickly. Still taking off a star for past issues**. Lengthy wait time only to find my claim is on hold due to records missing. They did not contact the primary vet on file. After records provided twice I received no confirmation. Told it would take ANOTHER 30 days when I called. Eventually received an email that records were missing and they couldn’t move forward with my claim because I could not get my newly adopted dog an appt anywhere within the first 14 days I had him?? Vets everywhere are extremely busy. He had a thorough exam at the first available appt within a few weeks of adoption. This claim is for an emergency situation and not a preexisting condition. Seems like they just want to avoid paying while I try to recover from this financially. Not impressed. People get insurance so they can have timely reimbursement for unexpected medical expenses, not so they can pay a fortune in premiums and wait indefinitely for a reimbursement that may or may not ever come. Do better Embrace.

terrible experience
This company does not take customer service seriously and will take over a month on average age to process your claim. They don’t respond to emails and claim to loose your pet’s medical records.

Double Surgeries
My dog started limping and took him in and it was determined after several vet and specialty vet visits, that he need surgery for a torn ACL. Pets Best processed the claim with no questions, just an itemized invoice. 2 months later, he started limping on his other leg. Yes, another torn ACL. I was worried that the insurance would not cover another claim even though it was on a different leg. But the claims process was just as easy. These are the biggest bills I've had with this dog and I'm SO glad I had insurance for peace of mind that I didn't have to worry about the costs, just the care.
Caring
I had (sadly passed recently) an 11 / 12 year old Chihuahua who had cancer. Pets Best helped me with the claims process. They did all things & sent a Sympathy card after learning my pet passed. I truly recommend this company. Just ensure to get the coverage you feel meets what you can afford. Pets Best will do the rest!

So glad we chose Met Life
We’ve had 4 rescues and we decided in April to purchase pet insurance. We are very happy with how easy it is to submit claims. Also, everyone I have spoken with has been extremely helpful and supportive.
