Amazing as always

The claims process was very easy and quick. Payment was made within days of my claim.

While it is very helpful to have coverage for my pup, I feel that there are some things that should be covered that aren't. Also it is very discouraging that after my first claim, my premium increases. Coincidence???

Our little schi tzu cocker mix blew her CCL right back leg last year. After speaking to Orthopedic Veterinarian, we chose to have the surgery to alleviate her pain. This was a major surgery which cost almost $5,000, it was such a relief to have pet insurance to pay 80% after the deductable. It was an 8 week recovery with her needing to stay in a kennel which she did not like! You can imagine how we felt when just 13 months later, the exact same thing happened to her left back leg! Our 2 years old Dane recently bloated and we rushed him to the ER. Turned out he had GDV and a congested spleen. It was the scariest 4 days of my life and even though we’d go broke to save him, it was comforting to know our insurance would be there to support us. After having his stomach tacked, spleen removed, aspirating, and having cardiac issues as a complication, I was a wreck. Healthy Paws, processed our 9k$ claim within 5 days and is covering 90% of the bill. Having the peace of mind with a great insurance company who is always there to take calls and answer questions about claims is a huge relief as a pet parent. Our 11-year-old Jack Russell Terrier (Buddy) came down with acute Peritonitis. It came on suddenly and he was extremely sick. He had to spend two nights in the hospital Iv’s, meds, etc. Two weeks later he had another episode not as sever. Healthy Paws claims process is so easy all we had to do is email the itemized invoice from the provider to Healthy Paws Claims that was it. We received emails to confirm they received our claim and were issued a claim number. They informed us of each stage of claim process. The bottom line is within 7 working days we received over $4,000.00 in reimbursements. In addition, they sent out letters to check on buddy’s progress so we give them 5 Stars!
