I think Spot is very fair
I think Spot is very fair. The only problem I had was they would not reimburse me for prescription dog food which my dog needs for his pancreatitis.

I am very satisfied with Healthy paws…
I am very satisfied with Healthy paws pet insurance. My dog recently had major orthopedic surgery. I received reimbursement within 7 days of submitting my claim. They even sent me a follow-up email inquiring how my dog was doing post surgery. They are quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Healthy paws does not have a yearly or lifetime cap on reimbursement.

My experience with Embrace Pet Insurance
Recently had our first claim with Embrace after 2 years of membership. They asked for history of vet visits which I dutifully provided, only to have them use that to deny every claim. Even though the Vet Neurology Specialist wrote a letter to Embrace stating the the reason for our claim had nothing to do with earlier visits. Additionally, they decided that because a skin tag I asked our vet to look at was too small at the time to biopsy, our dog will be denied possible future cancer care because it is a “pre-existing condition”. The skin tag has since dried up and fallen off, but makes no difference.

Based on the research I did
Based on the research I did, I thought this was going to be a great company to work with. I have Met Life for my other dog, and I really had not complaints with them. I just thought based on the research this comlany would be great for my new puppy. Boy was I wrong!! Stay away from them. They don't cover anything at full cost, they make it sound so great but in reality I have been to 4 vet visits totaling well over 700 and I have not even yet met my $250 deductible. Run away, I went to one visit and with Met life I was already on the path to reimbursement. Please do yourself a favor and don't believe the hype of this company. I can't wait to switch back to Met Life.

Only 4 days! Beginning to end!
I've had SPOT for over a year now but only needed to file a claim last week. I filled the claim, only 2 days later it was approved. 2 days after that my claim was paid, deposited into my bank account! 4 days from beginning to end! Can't ask for any better than that.

Our special dog got mast cell cancer
Our special dog got mast cell cancer, and ASPCA Pet insurance helped with his surgery and post treatment and cancer meds. We are so grateful for that help! We had another pet insurance, but found that ASPCA was a much better option and so we switched and have been very satisfied with them. Thank you!
