We've had no problems with our claims. Buying pet insurance was one of the best choices we made for our fur baby. We bought it when he was young and he's now 10. I would recommend it to any pet owner
This insurance is horrible. Do not buy this. They denied my claim for an isolated incident for my dogs ear infection due to him getting water in his ears. The are trying to say that the ear infection is pre-existing because my dog has dermatology issues. The ear infection had nothing to do with my dogs dander issue!!!! So disappointed after paying all this money for the past few years!! Customer service was horrible! Do not get this insurance!
We were so worried when our kitten ingested lily and had to spend four days in the hospital. Once our kitten was back home safe, we had still to face a big bill from the hospital. Luckily HealtyPaws was there for us and the whole process has been very straightforward.
We uploaded all the documents on the website and in a matter of 2-3 days the claim was already processed. The reimbursement check was delivered within two weeks.
Customer service was also very nice, contacting us in the following days asking aout the recovery of our little Giangatto.
You never appreciate the value of good insurance coverage and service until you need it. Three weeks ago, my beloved Golden Retriever Autumn was diagnosed with Meningitis. The last three weeks have been very difficult and very, very expensive. I have had Healthy Paws pet insurance since Autumn was one year of age, initiating coverage immediately following a very expensive medical procedure. Thank goodness I learned my lesson; Autumn has been fully covered ever since. I am always amazed how quickly Healthy Paws is able to review my claims and deposit defunds directly into my checking account. Their platform for claim submission and all resulting documentation are very simple to execute and easy to understand. Most importantly, being able to focus on my dog's care and not on the mounting bills at a time like this is a true gift. I honestly cannot recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance highly enough. And also, Autumn is on the mend with a good prognosis. :)
