This is the first time I have had Pet Insurance so I didn't know what to expect. I submitted a claim for an office visit, x-rays and meds for my puppy after she started limping. The claim was handled professionally and quickly. The Embrace staff kept me advised by e-mail regularly on the status of the claim. When I submitted additional information for consideration, the claim was finalized within 24 hours! That's quicker than MY health insurance provider. Overall, an excellent experience! Thank you!!!

My yorkie has been having seizures that no one can figure out what the reason for them is . They are very infrequentand all the tests come back that he is a very healthy guy. We now think that he drank some of his dads tea and this may be the reason for one seizure. We think another one of them was from his scooping up a piece of apple pie that had fallen on the floor before we could stop him. Tea and apples with cinnamon do not like yorkies. They become very lithargic and shaky. Embrace has always been prompt with their response and keeps me updated with the claims status. It is a very good insurance to have for the sicknesses you can see and those you can not.

After 2 years now and several trips to the vet we are still very pleased with Healthy Paws insurance. All claims have been very quickly processed and we have received the advertised compensation within just a couple of days. No questions asked, no haggling for claim coverage, just quality prompt service. I want to register myself with HP as all insurance companies should take note of their practices.

My 4/yr/old Boxer, was found to have an anal tumor,chronic anal gland issues, and blew out his right cruciate ligament all during the month of December 2012. (Merry Christmas!) Two different veterinarians explained to me that the surgeries needed to be done sooner rather than later, as Rocky's good rear leg was taking additional stress from the overuse due to the bad right rear leg. Surgery was scheduled for 12/27. Thankfully the anal tumor turned out to be benign. Rocky's post op period started out a bit difficult, but he is now on the mend. He starts water treadmill therapy this week. He is expected to be fully functional on both legs before the snow melts for spring in Alaska. What a relief! I can not imagine having a large male Boxer crippled for life at the young age of 4 y/o had I not been able to afford his surgery and the worry of not knowing if a tumor was cancer. My customer service experience with H.P. was great. Everything regarding reimbursement at 90% for costs above the deductible (I selected the $500 annual deductible but there are lower amounts available at signup) was as stated in the plan. There were no surprises when I received the detailed outline of the reimbursement payment. When I first looked into pet insurance plans, I chose Healthy Paws because I could actually understand how the plan would work. Overall I am very impressed with Embrace; I'm kept informed of the status of my claims and their representatives are extremely polite and helpful. I find their rates competitive and a good value for what I receive.I belong to a local bird dog club and and when the subject of insurance comes up I always recommend Embrace.

I only wish health insurance for humans work as well and as smoothly as this service. At this time I would fully recomend Embrace Pet Insurance.
