I wasn't completely sold on the whole pet insurance thing and not having the best experience with health insurance was a little hesitant to get another insurance I was going to have to fight to get my claims covered. We have had two well visit claims and one medical claim. It was easy to file the forms, even though the first one I didn't get all the info included they helped me with everything I needed to get and paid promptly. On the medical claim, sent the info in, they reviewed and sent me a detailed statement on the coverage along with a check. Couldn't of been easier. I'm glad we got the insurance, now if I could just get Embrace to talk to the health insurance people and get them to understand what customer service should be like.

We decided to get pet insurance when our dog was still a puppy, just to have as a safeguard, figuring we would never use it. Boy are we glad we made that decision because Embrace has come to the rescue with a no-hassle claim system, polite and knowledgeable customer service, and prompt reimbursements for our claims. They did follow up emails inquiring about how Finnigan was doing, which again shows they go the extra mile. It was very appreciated. For a reasonable monthly fee, we had peace of mind last week when Finnigan needed care. Healthy Paws was extremely efficient in handling his claim. We received the check with a week, and now Finnigan is on the road to recovery. Following his care we received a follow up email asking about how Finn was doing from Healthy Paws. I would recommend this company to any pet owner. I was a vet tech for 8 years and saw many unfortunate circumstances in which owners had to put down a family pet due to not being able to afford medical care. I am currently in a situation in which I am only able to afford treatment for my dog because I am lucky enough to have enrolled my dog in Embrace pet insurance. My dog is severly epileptic and requires 4 different kinds of seizure meds daily. He has also had to have 2 ICU stays, a MRI, and a spinal tap performed by his neurologist. Embrace has covered everything for us without hesitation. The turn around time is great. I submitted a claim on 2/4/13 and received payment on 2/8/13. They have also covered the usual types of illness for dogs as well such as ear infections and gastroenteritis. Prior to choosing embrace I did a lot of research and I can say with certainty that we made the right decision in choosing Embrace. I owe my dogs life to them. Without them I could not have paid the $4-5K worth of tests and treatments he has needed.
