Issues with reimbursement
Their website malfunctions often. In the past I have been reimbursed via direct deposit, but with my most recent claim, they issued it via cheque for some reason and 2 months later it still has not arrived. I have phoned multiple times and been told something different every time. They have told me they have reissued the cheque twice now, but it still has not arrived. The address of my account has been the same and is correct, so unless Canada Post is having issues delivering it to the right address, then there is something shady going on. According to their company policy, if a cheque is issued, they cannot cancel a cheque and reissue via direct deposit. This is a inflexible policy that should be overridden in circumstances when cheques are not being delivered and they cannot track the cheques as well. If I don't receive my reimbursement, I will be changing insurance companies. Please BEWARE folks.

The personalized customer experience is phenomenal...highly recommend
The personalized customer experience with this company is stellar. My sweet pup was diagnosed with Addison's disease after a lengthy (and expensive) sickness. Pumpkin was so quick in processing claims and depositing funds that I was able to keep paying for vet services throughout the illness. Then when he swallowed a cat toy, the rep I spoke with told me exactly what was needed to complete the claim and offered to reach out to the emergency clinic to request it. She followed up with me with a phone call and an email and was very kind in a stressful situation. Every rep I've talked to has been so nice and extremely helpful. I would recommend Pumpkin over and over.

Very happy with response time.
Once they reviewed the case, it took about two weeks to get the first Refund. Each claim after that was very quickly less than a week, very satisfied with response time. I would definitely recommend them. Anytime that I call with questions I’m greeted with really great response and kindness. Always asking about my pets.

Be careful
Be careful! They advertised it's simple to buy insurance with them. It's true, easy when they want to take your money. Come to claim though, you are not protected, they lied and pressed you, drag the investigation for months with no result. Make it so difficult, you could not talk to anyone, they bounced you from one dept to others so that they could do more investigation. It's ridiculous, and this is their slogan "Get insurance you can trust. Built for the 21st century, backed by history." not true, false advertising. Get insurance you can trust. The Best I’ve Ever Had
I have had pet insurance for over 20 years, so I pretty much know about how the pet insurance industry works. Eight years ago I got my new puppy, Tala (husky), and I immediately acquired insurance after shopping around and looking into old insurance companies as well as new. I found one and I thought it was going to be a good fit. It was not. I did not have many claims, but each one was met with scrutiny (even with vet records), and it was clear I needed to find another company. This is when I found Embrace!! I can’t say enough about how great this pet insurance is. They have so many options for deductibles and coverage and the Wellness add on is nice at least for me. The App is very user friendly, their claims process is excellent with pretty much within days getting reimbursed. Recently my husky got very sick and we ended up at the emergency not once but twice. After paying the vet bills upon leaving which the bills stacked up to be quite substantial, within days of filling out my claims, I was paid. Recently one of the PDF’s I sent was not clear, Embrace reached out to me and to the vet office for clarification through emails. I had to call them and I actually got a human right away who was knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend Embrace!
