Because it is taking a long time to be paid on claims. More so than in the past. And I currently have 4 outstanding claims dating back to 4/30. In the past these were paid back to me very quickly.

Trupanion has been nothing but amazing when it comes to helping us out with our vet bills.
Trupanion has been nothing but amazing when it comes to helping us out with our vet bills. Who knew that in almost 8 years of our dog’s short life, she would have 2 major surgeries and one likely more in her future! Trupanion has given us the piece of mind that our dog will be taken care of, and we don’t have to choose between our dog or finances. Every family or friend that gets a new pet, we rave about the benefits of pet insurance and suggest Trupanion.
Drew was amazingly helpful at putting my mind at ease after receiving news that our dog had another mast cell tumour that had grown and would once again need surgery. He put things in simple terms when I was trying to understand coverage for the same condition that had repeated.

I spoke to Camile.
I spoke to Camile. She was so helpful and explained everything in detail to me. She also said she would call and talk to the Vets office, which she did. She called me back the following day in response. So many times customer service people SAY they will do something and don't. I was extremely pleased with Camile and I was left with very positive feedback.

Sophie is (was) a rescue. She is an awesome dog. Dr. Connie said sometimes it is just bad luck. Two knees! Yikes. We feel extremely fortunate to have such a great team.
You at Trupanion & our wonderful vet Dr. Connie & our other excellent surgeon Dr. Sukiani. They have both called us after hours to discuss Sophie's surgery.
