Calmness in stressful times
My husband phoned from the vet specialist, in the midst of our dog’s emergency. We didn’t have our information or our number but the call service employee was SO kind and helpful in the midst of our stress and sadness. We can’t thank that person enough. We are so grateful to Trupanion. We lost our Staveley but the phone calls gave us a sense of calmness with straightforward information.

My 13 year old dog has an abscessed tooth which requires gen.
My 13 year old dog has an abscessed tooth which requires gen. anesthesia for an abstraction. Trupanion found an 8 year old record that said he had gingivitis when he was three and denied now on the basis of a pre-existing condition. Complete nonsense. I wanted to avoid a general because of his age. After paying premiums for years on a young, healthy dog, I get denied when my old dog needs it. Shame on you.

Never have had a problem with Trupanion they’ve always been very helpful an claims are so easy to make also I’m on a small income so it extremely helps that i only have to pay my portion and Trupanion takes the stress off by dealing with the rest.

I love your company.
I love your company. I'm in insurance for 30 years on the auto and home side. I truly believe in insurance and you guys have it down perfectly. Your customer experience is second to none. I love how you make me feel and how you are just as concern over my pet's wellbeing as I am. I tell everyone who brings home a dog or cat to make sure they get insurance on them and to go with you. I tell them you are a little more expensive than others but your coverage is the best.

I'm happy with customer service but unhappy that consults/exams aren't covered especially with specialists because I already paid my primary vet to get referred to the specialist.
