My dog Seelie was diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to a leaky mitral valve when he was 5 years old, had insurance with Trupanion since he was about 3. He's now 9, takes six different medications, has regular evaluations with a veterinary cardiologist, and has fantastic quality of life. I don't have to worry about being able to pay for his care with Trupanion; every single claim (and there are a lot of them) is paid fully and quickly. He had a full work-up with the cardiologist last week: ultrasound, x-rays, etc. The bill came to over $1300. I submitted the claim online to Trupanion... over $1100 was deposited into my account two or three days later. It doesn't get much better than that!
My claims experience was very easy and efficient using the app. The steps to getting a claim filed are very clear. The quick response was also very appreciated! Thank you, highly recommend!
