Called for information on submitting a claim, as I had never used the insurance before. Amanda was beyond helpful. She thoroughly explained each step of the way, and made sure that I knew exactly what to do, Stellar customer service. I felt like I was chatting with an old friend, that’s how comfortable I was with her. She is definitely the type of person I’d want representing my business. Bottom line - gives a fighting chance
Bottom line, Trupanion gave us a chance to fight cancer. Trupanion gave my soul dog Arthur a fighting chance against cancer at 7 years old. When he got sick, I was terrified and heartbroken. But the claim process was simple and completely stress-free. No paperwork, no delays, no fighting on the phone. They paid the vet directly so I could focus 100% on Arthur, not on bills. Arthur has left us, but I’ll always be appreciative that Trupanion gave my Arthur the opportunity to fight back. They gave us more good days, more tail wags, more time together. I'll be forever grateful they gave us a chance to fight back. These guys are ok in my book. Best decision I ever made for my soul dog. Do not hesiate to trust Trupanion.

Negative Score
If I could give Trupanion a negative score I would. I can’t fathom that anything they do is out of the goodness of their hearts. They have always been trying to pay little to nothing where possible despite physical changes to my dog’s body as it is growing up. The premiums they charge are outrageous and seem to target dogs that have been ill. They can say this isn’t true but the fact is that the premiums are jumping significantly. If this is the rate increase for all animals shame on you Trupanion. The agents that work for Trupanion have been rude and mean to myself as well as my vet clinic. I can’t believe that they are animal owners. They don’t seem to have one nice bone in their body. Heed this warning- Trupanion will market themselves via email and all other forms of social media as the good guy. They are greedy capitalists preying on animal lovers. Do what’s best for you because they don’t actually care.

Service with a Smile.
I didn’t submit a completed application to insure my newly adopted dog because I needed his name changed from Nixon to Patch. All flustered, I called Fetch’s support line & was fortunate enough to reach Joshua Sábado. He was very helpful and equally as informative. He suggested I increase my annual coverage as the additional cost would be minimal. I heeded his advice to download the app for Fetch to better manage my account and take advantage of offers. He thoroughly explained payment options. I really like his “I can help you with that” attitude. He’s definitely an asset to Fetch.
