I love being part of the trupanion family. We are utilizing the insurance now that Zeus is Older and starting to need it. That being said your reimbursement process is good but it's disheartening that I've now paid over 20,000 dollars to trupanion through the life of my pet and you keep raising my rates to the effect of 30 dollars this coming July. The economy effects everyone including business but customer loyalty should have some weight on decisions to raise rates on a person who's pet is going through cancer or another life threatening illness. The automated age to breed metrics currently being used seems hartless.

Great when unexpected treatment arises.
I've had VPI (now Nationwide) for well over 20 years on all my dogs. Thankfully, because of insurance I am able to afford unexpected treatments over the years. Wouldn't be without Pet Insurance.

Poor Customer Service and Claim Processing
I submitted a claim on my cat Barney in January of 2023 and it is now May and the claim has still not been processed accepted and/or denied. The claim was escalated multiple times by customer service reps with no results or any promised follow-up. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company of any kind. Since this pet insurance policy is like having no insurance at all, I went ahead and canceled my policy.

AMAZING PET INSURANCE
I have insured 2 of my dogs with Trupanion. The customer service is extremely helpful and kind. When you have a sick or injured pet it's incredibly stressful, TRUPANION alleviates the added stress of paying for the best possible care for your pet.
The customer service staff are knowledgeable and compassionate and genuinely care about animals.
Having Trupanion insurance has allowed to focus on my animals well being and not the cost of needed treatments.
