They fight bank with Diductables
They paid my dogs claims (80%) and then moved my diductable to 50% I personally don't think that is right. If you use their insurance they will penalize you with stupid diductables. So one must wonder if $70 a month is really a deal? I will let you be the one who decides.

Raisins + German Shepherd = $$$$$
When I adopted Baby I decided to get her insured. I did a lot of research and found that ASPCA offered the best coverage for older dogs at the most reasonable price. So decided to go with ASPCA. I believe it was a very smart decision. When I came home one night to find that my GSD had eaten a bag of raisins out of my purse, ASPCA was very helpful and kind. Baby had to spend the weekend at the emergency room racking up a huge bill. It would have cleaned me out if it hadn't been for ASPCA Pet Insurance. I never had a problem getting someone from ASPCA on the phone. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about Baby's well being. I got my reimbursement check in a timely manner, so instead of having to pay around $1300 for Baby's emergency care it only ended up costing me around $400 out of pocket. I would highly recommend ASPCA Insurance, for the piece of mind knowing that you and your pet will be well taken care of if anything should happen.

Great company - keep it up!
We had three big dogs for many years (yes, three!) but never had pet insurance until one of our dogs was diagnosed with a spleen mass. A year after her spleen was removed she was diagnosed with bone cancer and underwent treatment. The mounting pile of bills for her medical visits made an already stressful situation even worse - but it was also the reason we decided to get pet insurance for the rest of the furry family. We chose ASPCA because they accepted older animals (up to 10 years) and their rates were great. We stayed with ASPCA because they have steadfastly and fairly supported us through multiple incidents with our dogs. A couple of our recent claims include 2 lbs. of raw pizza dough stolen off the counter by our Weimaraner Jack, who had to spend the night in intensive care, and a diagnosis of advanced heart disease in our recently adopted terrier mix, Tessa. Our monthly premiums are tiny compared to the money we've saved by using ASPCA; in fact our claims exceed our premiums every year so it's like having a savings account for pet health. Claims are very easy to submit; we just scan and email our forms to their claims address. When we have to contact ASPCA for any reason the people on the other end are patient, professional, and just plain nice. It's a great company and I recommend it to all of our friends.

Awesome
We have have a pet poodle who is now 11 years old. We actually picked her out about 2 weeks after birth. Mandi is a pure bred with champion parents. She has been our baby ever since we got her. Somewhere, some how she got into Rat Poisoning and had to have several transfusions, sleeping in Oxygen kennels, blood works, x-rays, etc.. She literally creeped across the floor to me and I took her in immediately. When she was worst that night we took her back in with bleeding gums, blood in her chest cavity and neck. Had the blood made it into her lungs she would have died. We are very thank ful for have Trupanion as our pet insurance coverage. They have handled everything for us and we would highly recommend them to pet owners. Thank you for all your updates and continued wonderful customer service. Melanie
