Great Pet Insurance Company!
I want to thank Embrace for the very quick response to my first claim on my cat, Sweetie. They corresponded with me by email and asked for her health records since I had just enrolled her. I had my Vet fax them and received an acknowlegement by email. I was amazed at how responsive Embrace was. I had another pet insurance, VPI, when I had my dog but they were no where near as responsive as Embrace. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that Embrace cares about their customers and respond so timely. In this age of lack of consideration of customers time, it is great to find a company that provides outstanding customer service! Thanks.

Beware
I have had Pet's Best insurance for about a year now. My 7 year old cat recently started urinating outside of the box, which is unusual for her. I took her to my vet who wanted to rule out medical conditions, such as diabetes, urinary tract infections, etc. We did some lab and some radiographs. Turned out to be strictly behavioral due to some changes in the household. I submitted my claim to Pet's Best, but was denied due to the condition being behavioral. I understand they dont cover behavioral conditions, however, we were trying to make sure she didnt have a medical condition. Maybe next time ill have my vet just lie and say its something so i can get reimbursed. Not very happy

Pet Health insurance
Although my pets are healthy it gives me peace of mind to know that when I do need insurance for my "fur children" I have it. ASPCA has been reasonably priced and the service is great.

Good Insurance
I've had my Scotties and Scottish Fold cats insured since the 90s. Always had good service. I've no experience w/any other pet insurers so I really can't compare. I am active in several breed rescues and I always talk about and recommend Petshealth

the best investment for jaxson and us
I've been very pleased with embrace. Our puppy, jaxson was very sick for three months trying to find out what caused his Illness. Embrace was always there. When I sent a claim in, they would get a response right away and they actual cared about Jaxson and alwasy asked how he was doing. I would highly recomend Embrace Pet Ins. Thank You Tom & Lisa

Switching back to VPI
my friend raved about pets best, but I have had no luck with them at all. I'm switching back to VPI. yes on paper PetsBest seems great, but they nickel and dime you at every corner possible, and they're so difficult to get $ back from. You have to write almost an essay for everything the dog needs, and so far, even though I've had the basic procedures that are "supposed" to be covered under my plan, they find a loophole to not pay me. VPI never did that, and it was so easy, I just faxed them my reciept, and VPI would send me a check. So far my pup and i purchased the most expensive plan too, out of the $400 I submitted, I only got $10 back, saying they will only cover the fecal test. I would not recommend them, This is what I get for swtiching and trying to save a couple bucks.

Pets best always comes through!
My dog Dually was diagnosed with Spondylitis and I just spent $700 getting him diagnosed and treated. Pets best processed my claim in two days and wired money into my bank account immediatlely. They are always so pleasant on the phone. I highly recommend them.

Saved me $6,000 with the greatest of ease!
I have had Embrace insurance for two years (pay about $350 a year for policy with a $300 deductible and covers 80% of pretty much any service). Last year, it saved me around $600 for random recurring Giardia infection... but this year, WOW! My dog got bloat with torsion (ruptured spleen, internal bleeding, etc) and required emergency surgery costing over $8,000. I'm so sad to say that I don't think I could have saved her life without this coverage. Thankfully, she got everything she needed and it cost me less than 2K (affordable). The process for filing my claims was EASY! Single form, attach invoices and send. Embrace kept me informed on their progress throughout (even sending email updates midstream) and when I was getting stressed about my pending credit card payment, they rushed my claim through! Everyone there is SO SO SO nice and responsive. No arguments, no drama, no delay. Love it! I really can't say enough about how the coverage and service level has impressed me.

Great coverage and customer service
I had originally used VPI to insure my two dogs dating back to around 2002 but switched them to Trupanion about two years ago after reading an article in Consumer Reports. I am so glad I did this!! In my experience, Trupanion has much better coverage.... no caps on expenses for an injury or illness and and the coverage and deductibles don't change as my pets get older. This is a huge benefit compared to VPI. In addition, Trupanion emails me through every part of the claim process, has taken the time to call me regarding specific claims, and overall has been very helpful. My only additional comment is that the "90% coverage" is a little misleading. When my dog developed cancer, I took her to a specialist. While they have covered 90% of her treatments (minus the deductible) so far (some are still pending), the initial $200 consultation was not covered. Ultimately, this doesn't make a difference... I would still have taken her to the specialist and I would still use Trupanion! (And to be fair, I may have missed this in the fine print print of our policy.) I just remembered from the website the "90% coverage" and this wasn't quite accurate. Overall, I have been very happy with Trupanion and I have already recommended them to several friends with pets.
