I was very impressed with the speedy response of the receipt of my claim ( electronic submission from my Vet clinic) to the approval in less than 8 hours. The money reimbursement was in my bank account the next day. This was my first claim with Trupanion and I hope I won’t need to make any more, but I am happy to know how easy it is should I need to do so again in the future. I also loved the message to give my dog Millie some chin scratches from Trupanion....a nice personalized touch. Thank you!
I was happily, surprised. Inherently, trust and insurance companies don’t go hand in hand. I thought I was going to have to fight, get vet statements, etc etc, and still wait until long after I had paid. This wasn’t the case at all. Within 5 minutes of the vets office submitting a $4000 claim....... a notice of approval for a little over $3000 was authorized. I would most certainly recommend tru-panion to anyone looking for pet insurance.
