We took our dog to the nearest emergency vet, and insurance denied full coverage despite us paying 130/month for insurance for YEARS. We did not feel supported and the customer service rep was condescending when we called to inquire what was happening and why there was no pre-approval. As a grad student who has to choose how I spend my money wisely, I am extremely disappointed that I’ve spent so much money on Trupanion insurance all these years. I could’ve saved so much money.

Our boxer has been itching severely. We took hi to the vet and had to get him a shot and some antibiotics which cost about $200. I put the claim in immediately, which was very easy.
