Couldn't Find Better Insurance
Healthy Paws took care of my little pug, Lucy. She's only six months old, and like most puppies, gets into everything. She began throwing up and had a high temperature. When I brought her to the vet, they figured out she had gotten into something because her liver values were sky high (she had gone into shock). She stayed for four days. Because Healthy Paws had my back, I knew I didn't have to choose between giving her the care she needed, or letting her go. Four days later, she was a bouncing, healthy baby again, and just a few days after that, I received my reimbursement check from Healthy Paws. They covered exactly what they said they would. I love this company! I recommended them to all my friends and family. Plus, the person on the phone and web were all so pleasant!!

Prepare to be gouged
They will do everything in their power to not pay. Apparently a 2 year old dog has a history of osteoarthritis. All their proof comes from treatments that occurred AFTER we started the insurance plan. We tried some chiropractic treatments which I paid out of pocket rather than get the rider in order to reduce some stiffness in her shoulder. The only way to challenge a claim is for your vet to write a clarification letter. My vet doesn't feel comfortable writing such a letter as she has endured harassing calls from insurance companies when she has done it, including Trupanion apparently and has her business to consider.I believe it. When I called to get clarification on what would be covered they tried to use fear to keep me from cancelling.

Glad We Chose Embrace
I was skeptical on purchasing any type of pet insurance but owning Golden Retrievers, having our last precious one pass from cancer, I began looking for a reputable company we could trust in case we were 'there' again. I'm so glad we did and glad we chose Embrace after researching many options. Our first covered claim for illness was an oral mass. We were deeply concerned to see this growth in our 5 yr old furbaby's mouth appear but her amazing vet took great care of her we are thankful to God this growth was benign. Receiving claim payment (after the deductible) certainly helped with the total out of pocket costs. Libby did not have any non-wellness claims the first year with Embrace so when she needed surgery to remove this mass, we were able to have a discounted deductible too (credit for no illness claims until our second policy year). The staff at Embrace have been very professional, quick to respond and very helpful. I would have rated the overall higher but this claim was marked complete in error before it was processed for payment, however, once I brought that to the claims department's attention, it was immediately responded to and the claim was processed with payment in just a few short days. Mistakes do happen but what impressed me most was how it was immediately handled and expedited to a manager (without me asking for that). Because of this as well, I am impressed with their service; enough to continue to carry the insurance with Embrace for our furry girl.

Claim Denied
Was denied coverage for an allergy test for my dog. They considered it a skin condition which was an exclusion on my policy. I was told otherwise when i signed up, but the exclusion was listed in fine print on my policy. If you are insured with Petsecure, make sure you check the fine print. They had no willingness to cover any of my claim, so in order to cover the $500 vet bill, cuts needed to be made. Sadly, Petsecure was at the top of my list.

Thank god for Embrace
My friend told me I should get pet insurance when I got my new puppy last November. I didn't even know you could get pet insurance. I have OCD so this type of security was right up my alley. My dog is a chewer so I was actually worried about her getting a blockage but she actually ended up injuring her leg to the point where she couldn't walk. The Embrace process is so easy and their customer service is awesome. My friend actually has VSI or VPI or something but I decided to go with Embrace based on reviews and I am glad I did. Sophie is doing much better! Note to prospective dog owners, get to know your breed and do not get high energy dogs if you do not have a yard.

affordable coverage and good service
I took in a stray cat about 7 years ago. The condition of her teeth along with her malnourishment told me that I had better get her some health insurance, which I did. Over the years she has developed quite a number of chronic problems and Pets Best has turned out to be a great investment. They have always paid immediately and without question, which I very much appreciate. Also the claims process is straight forward and the direct deposit extremely convenient. I highly recommend them.

TPLO Surgery
I have had Embraced Pet Insurance since my Maxx was 8 weeks old. I have been totally satisfied with Embraced and would recommend Embraced to anyone who is considering becoming a pet owner. Never did I imagine, I would be faced with such heartbreaking news that my Maxx had a torn ACL, but thats the situation we faced. After much research my husband and I decided to do the TPLO surgery. We were quoted 3000 dollars. Although, there was no doubt of whether Maxx would get the surgery done we weren't sure if the insurance would reimburse, due to reading many horror stories from other people who dealt with other insurance companies, in regards to reimbursement . However, I am pleased to say we didn't have a horrible experience with Embraced. Embraced processed the claim and reimbursed us 80% of the cost. A major medical condition can strike at anytime and I am glad we chose Embraced as our Pet insurance to help minimize a major expense.

Healthy Paws saved my dog
When Sitka started holding her leg up, I was certain she was going to need knee surgery. Imagine my heartache when the surgeon discovered a large tumor rather than a blown knee. Certain specifics about the tumor lead the doctor to believe it may not be the primary source. An ultrasound confirmed there was another mass in her adrenal gland. I was crushed. We tried treating the leg tumor with various forms of chemo, but it continued to grow. After 8 months we made the difficult decision to amputate. The pathology of the tumor came back as being a relatively rare form of bone cancer that tends not to be aggressive. That leads the doctors to believe that perhaps the mass in her gland is benign. Fingers-crossed little Sitka will prove to be cancer-free and live a long life as a tripod.I will never again have a pet without insurance, and Healthy Paws has covered $7,000 plus in just my first year of their service.
