Sterling's Healthy Paws Coverage
Very happy to have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for Sterling. It has helped financially and most importantly with his treatment to remove the clear cell apocrine ductular carcinoma on his left lateral thigh. He has recovered nicely from the surgery and we are hopeful that this excision will take care of any future tumors. We have been grateful for the handling of our claim and the follow-up from Healthy Paws on Sterling.

VPI has poor, complicated coverage
I am a veterinarian and would NOT recommend VPI to any pet owner. The Benefits schedule is very confusing to pet owners and does not provide adequate coverage. Go with a company that provides simple reimbursement plans. Recently I had to refer my own cat to a specialist for cancer. The VPI process was extremely frustrating and time consuming. A similar situation happen with my other cat that had a fever of unknown origin.

on the urging of a friend, I bought Embrace pet insurance Dec 2014. At the time all pets were healthy. Unfortunately three developed illnesses in 2015, and Thank Goodness I have Embrace. Even with a high deductible I still got significant payment back

Paws down, the BEST out there!!!
Winston was diagnosed with CCL tears in both his hind legs. He would need bilateral TPLO surgery. I was very nervous when submitting my claim as I assumed it would be a fight to get a reimbursement. To my delight, the claim was submitted by me on a Saturday and by Monday, I received confirmation that the claim was approved and would be reimbursed in full as per my plan ($500 deductible and 90% reimbursement). By Friday of the same week, I received the reimbursement check! I can't tell you how pleased I am with this company. I have had other animals covered by other competing companies and have never had this level of service or reimbursement. There was not hassle and I highly recommend them to all of my pet loving friends and family.

Exceptional service and kindness!
My dog, Daisy, broke her leg on Easter while we were visiting family. We spent several hours in an emergency clinic, returned home Monday, saw her vet on Tuesday and she had surgery on Wednesday. The first two claims were approved by Friday. I received checks for her emergency care and first trip to her vet several days later. My claim for her surgical treatment and hospitalization were approved the day after she was released from the hospital. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They went above and beyond with their service and kindness. This was a large claim ($4000+) and we have only been with Healthy Paws for eight months but we were treated like family members. I have never posted an online review. I guess I thought my time was too valuable. But, for Healthy Paws I have made an exception because they have been exceptional. The online enrollment was easy, the deductible and monthly payment extremely reasonable (and affordable) and the service spectacular.

Speedy claims processing and awesome service!
I've been with Trupanion for almost 4 years and will stay with them for as long as I have pets. The coverage options and policy terms really take into account the needs of the pets and claims process is designed to be as painless as possible. Claim processing times typically take only a couple of days!
